The Steinhart Ocean One 39 Pink Gold Ceramic is the new addition to the Ocean collection in 39mm and a unique one while at that.

The Steinhart Ocean One 39 Pink Gold Ceramic is powered by ETA's automatic caliber, SW 200, élaboré, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 Hertz) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 42 hours. And of Elaboré grade.

The Steinhart Ocean One 39 Pink Gold Ceramic is made to the highest of Swiss standard. The case of the Steinhart Ocean 1 is made from 316L stainless steel and than pink gold plated to give it a lux feeling. Features a satin brushed finish on the top of the lugs and polished sides of the case. The 39mm case has a 47mm lug-to-lug dimensions making this quite comfortable on most wrist sizes.

The bezel on the Ocean 39mm  is where it all matters and a first we have ever seen. The Ocean One 39 Pink Gold Ceramic has a unique 3D ceramic bezel. What this means is that the numbers and markers are protruding while the background is recessed. When you run your fingers over it, you can actually feel the depth! With a luminous pip at the 12 o'clock position. The knurling on the side of the bezel is deep and clean. This helps in getting a good grip on the bezel for easy bezel operation. The 120 clicks bezel clicks positively into position.

The Steinhart signed mm screw-down crown is located at 3 O'clock and is good for a water resistant rating of 300m. The Ocean One 39 comes with a sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating for added clarity under different lighting conditions. It also has a date magnifier.

The dial on the Ocean 39 is black with applied markers with matching pink gold surround. SuperLuminova luminous is applied to the markers, minute, hour and second hands.

The Steinhart Ocean One 39 comes with a contrasting black leather strap to complete the overall luxury diver looks. Something that is certainly welcome.

Overall, the Steinhart Ocean One 39 exhibits very great value. And is suitable for those who thinks the 42mm Oceans are too big. The smaller size also makes this watch comfortable on smaller ladies' wrist. For the price, you get a Swiss Made watch with an SW200 Elaboré movement, a full 316L stainelss steel case with pink gold plating and an overall well finished sturdy watch. We love the three dimensional ceramic bezel and unique while at it. I think the last time we seen something like that was on a watch that is 20 times(?) the price of this Steinhart? This was before not achievable until Steinhart arrived and also probably the reason why Steinhart has quite a huge following although only been around for only 15 years.
