Orient has unveiled their latest iteration of their Contemporary line, the Orient Star Contemporary Semi Skeleton Ladies Light Blue – Ltd Ed - Ref. RE-ND0020L. Introducing a dazzling light blue dial to the Contemporary line up, inspired by crisp winter air and snowy landscapes. This new addition is set to amaze. Being part of the limited edition collection, this exquisite timepiece exhibits a modern aesthetic that delivers elegance and sophistication to suit any occasion.
Off the bat, a high level of detail is reflected in the tastefully finished case of the Orient Star Mechanical Contemporary Semi Skeleton ladies. The stainless steel case receives a highly polished bevelled edge that extends from one end of the lug to another, adding a touch of depth and luxurious character to the case.

This high polish finish contrasts especially well with the satin brushed finish on the side of the case. Having a case diameter of 30.5mm, a thickness of 11mm and a lug to lug distance of 36.6mm, the watch has a versatile size that fits many wrist sizes. Moreover, the lugs curve downwards gently, allowing the watch to hug the wrist comfortably. The watch is water resistant up to 50m (5 bar), suitable for everyday use.
One of the most eye-catching elements of the Orient Star Contemporary Semi Skeleton is the alluring sunburst light blue dial. Light play at different angles gives the watch depth and amazing sunburst effect, capturing attentions with ease.

Furthermore, the rose gold colour used throughout – such as the bezel and edges –gives great definition to the watch. The skeletonized cut-out at the 9 o'clock position displays the beating heart of the movement, viewing the moving parts of the movement is simply a joy to watch. The intricately finished applied indices adds another dimension to the dial, making it truly sophisticated and elegant.
Displaying through the see-through case back lies, the Orient in-house caliber 55C22 automatic movement powers the watch, featuring a 40-hour power reserve and operating at a beat rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz). This 20-jewel movement also offers hand-winding and hacking capabilities. The see-through case back reveals the intricate movement, allowing you to appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail, with fine finishing on the rotor and movement components.

The Orient Star Mechanical Contemporary Semi Skeleton ladies comes on a 14mm stainless steel bracelet that has a combination of satin brushed finish and polished finish, complimenting the finishes on the case. The bracelet is fitted with solid end links to hold the watch securely on the wrist.
