The case of the Damasko DK36/2 is crafted entirely in-house by Damasko and made from their proprietary ice-hardened stainless steel. Recognized as one of the toughest materials in the watch industry, this steel undergoes a cryogenic treatment that significantly increases its hardness and durability. Also referred to as "nickel-free stainless steel," it offers superior resistance to corrosion and wear—an ideal material for a robust, functional, and high-quality tool watch.

To further enhance its durability, the case is finished with Damasko's exclusive DAMEST coating. This treatment blends three key attributes, extreme strength, scratch resistance, and flexibility; into a single protective layer, optimizing the watch's resistance to daily wear and extending its lifespan. The ice-hardened steel provides a solid, shock-resistant foundation, while the multi-level structure of the case, combining the base material and the outer casing, offers a unique elasticity that helps absorb and compensate for impacts.

This durable case of the DK36/2 achieves water resistance rating of 100m, good for everyday wear. With a tasteful diameter of 40mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48.6mm and an incredible 12.3mm thin, the watch rests extremely comfortably on the wrist, especially with its pleasing curved lugs design. The crown is also equipped with Damasko's patented lubrication cell which ensures smooth action and lubricates the shaft and the gasket.

A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial, ensuring maximum readability in any lighting condition. Encircling the dial, the DK36/2 showcases a matte black surface with a distinctive, slightly shorter crosshair design—a signature Damasko element—enhanced by a refreshed marker layout. At 3 o'clock, the date and bilingual (English and German) weekday display add practicality without disrupting the dial's symmetry. Driven by the in-house Damasko calibre A26-3 German-made automatic movement with silicon escape wheel, the 20-jewel movement features a power reserve of 42 hours and a beat rate of 28,800 beats per hour. Moreover, the movement is certified to be shockproof and anti-magnetic in accordance with the DIN 8308 and 8309 standards of the Deutsches Institut für Normung - German Institute for Standardization. Adjusted in 6 positions by Damasko to achieve a high level of accuracy, this latest in-house movement is truly spectacular.

The DK36/2 comes fitted with a 20mm vintage-stitched black leather strap, bringing a refined touch while maintaining exceptional durability. It is secured with a sturdy Damasko signed pin buckle, ensuring a comfortable and reliable fit.
