The case of the Damasko DK20 is made in-house by Damasko and is the second model after the Dsub1 to be using what Damasko calls "Deutscher U-Boat-Stahl," which translates to be German Submarine Steel. The U-Boat steel is a high strength alloy steel and used extensively in the construction of German submarines and navy ships. The specially bead-blasted submarine steel ensures a high level of durability, scratch and corrosion resistance.

Another unique characteristic of the submarine steel has to be the color of the steel. The dark titanium grey color gives the watch a utilitarian, no-nonsense attitude while balancing with its classic case size and sterile-like dial.
 
Despite not being a dive watch, this phenomenal case of the DK20 achieves a substantial water resistance rating of 200m. With a tasteful diameter of 39mm, a lug to lug length of 48mm and a case thickness of 9.95mm, the watch rests extremely comfortably on the wrist, especially with its pleasing curved lugs design.
 
Protecting the dial is a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, ensuring maximum readability in any lighting condition. Surrounding the dial, the DK20 features a matte black surface with a distinctive crosshair design (slightly shorter)—now a signature element of Damasko, enhanced with a refreshed marker layout. The deep black dial, paired with the robust stainless steel case, creates a striking yet understated contrast, perfectly balancing form and function.

The hour markers are treated with Super-LumiNova Old Radium GL X1, giving them a rich, aged beige hue that enhances the watch's vintage charm. Despite its retro appeal, this premium luminous coating ensures exceptional brightness and long-lasting visibility, keeping the watch legible even in complete darkness. Meanwhile, the bold, sword-shaped hour and minute hands are also coated with the same luminescent paint, complementing the vintage aesthetic while maintaining the watch's sleek design. The DK20 continues Damasko's tradition of utilizing its impressive in-house movements. At its heart beats the German-made Damasko Calibre A26-1, a 20-jewel automatic movement boasting a 42-hour power reserve and a high-frequency beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Engineered for resilience, the movement is certified shockproof and anti-magnetic, meeting the stringent DIN 8308 and 8309 standards set by the Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization). To ensure exceptional accuracy, Damasko meticulously adjusts the movement in six positions. Offering a glimpse into this remarkable craftsmanship, the see-through exhibition case back reveals Damasko's custom-signed rotor, accentuated by decorative blue screws—a true testament to the brand's technical prowess.
