From a remarkable brand demonstrating excellence in the field of German watchmaking, Damasko's timepieces are best known for their use of innovative and advanced technologies to achieve seemingly over-built specifications, they're simply built like a tank. This time, Damasko unveiled their latest DK36 line which boasts the familiar crosshair dial design with a reliable new in-house automatic movement. With this major leap forward, Damasko is truly shaking things up, and this time around, it's introducing the DK36/2.
The case of the Damasko DK36/2 is made in-house by Damasko and uses ice-hardened stainless steel case. Known as one of the toughest materials used in the watch industry, the ice-hardened is steel treated with a cryogenic process to make it harder and more durable. Also known as "Nickel-free Stainless steel" the material has more resistance to corrosion and wear. An excellent choice for the construction of a durable, functional and high-quality tool watch.

This durable case of the DK36/2 achieves water resistance rating of 100m, good for everyday wear. With a tasteful diameter of 40mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48.6mm and an incredible 12.3mm thin, the watch rests extremely comfortably on the wrist, especially with its pleasing curved lugs design. The crown is also equipped with Damasko's patented lubrication cell which ensures smooth action and lubricates the shaft and the gasket.
A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial, ensuring maximum readability in any lighting condition. Encircling the dial, the DK36/2 showcases a matte black surface with a distinctive, slightly shorter crosshair design—a signature Damasko element—enhanced by a refreshed marker layout. At 3 o'clock, the date and bilingual (English and German) weekday display add practicality without disrupting the dial's symmetry. The black dial, paired with the robust stainless steel case, creates a striking yet understated contrast, perfectly balancing form and function.

The Damasko DK36/2 introduces a refreshed dial design while preserving the brand's signature essence. It features bold 3, 6, and 9 numerals, a distinctive triangle at 12 o'clock, and stick markers, all treated with 3D white luminous paint for exceptional legibility. A precise minute scale lines the outer rehaut, adding depth to the dial. The polished silver syringe-style hour and minute hands, also coated with luminescent paint, seamlessly blend sporty charm with contemporary refinement. Completing the look, a polished silver seconds hand adds a touch of vintage luxury, elevating the DK36/2's timeless appeal.
The main highlight of the DK36/2 is undoubtedly its latest introduction of Damasko's impressive in-house movement. Driven by the in-house Damasko calibre A26-3 German-made automatic movement with silicon escape wheel, the 20-jewel movement features a power reserve of 42 hours and a beat rate of 28,800 beats per hour. Moreover, the movement is certified to be shockproof and anti-magnetic in accordance with the DIN 8308 and 8309 standards of the Deutsches Institut für Normung - German Institute for Standardization. Adjusted in 6 positions by Damasko to achieve a high level of accuracy, this latest in-house movement is truly spectacular.
