Seiko 5 Sports “Field Sports Style” GMT White Ref. SBSC009 |
Anticipating the integration of the GMT movement into other models, we're thrilled to unveil the Seiko 5 Sports Style Field GMT series. In this series, Seiko masterfully blends functionality, specifications, and affordability. Gnomon Watches proudly presents the SBSC009 model featuring a white dial, steel case, and bezel. The stainless steel "field" case, with reduced dimensions compared to its counterparts, measures 39.4mm in width, 13.6mm in thickness, and 47.9mm lug-to-lug.
The case boasts multi-finished polishings, including the lugs and the fixed bezel, creating a rugged tool watch aesthetic. Complementing this is the fixed bezel insert adorned with 24-hour markings. The push-pull crown, maintaining the 2019 Seiko 5 design, ensures a water resistance of 100m. Flipping it over, the screw-down case back with a glass display allows enthusiasts to admire the intricate mechanical components. The domed Hardlex crystal enhances legibility, contributing to a high-contrast and seamless reading experience.

4R34 automatic caliber |
The stark white dial version features a bright orange GMT hand for added visibility. Even in low light conditions, Lumibrite-coated hands, indexes, and GMT hand ensure effortless timekeeping. The military-inspired design includes a 24-hour inner marking, bold Arabic hour markers, and a functional date display at 3 o'clock, framed in metal, with the GMT text positioned beneath the Automatic script.
A newly-designed five-row sports bracelet with a three-fold clasp, secure lock, and push-button release, reminiscent of classic tool watches, adorns this GMT timepiece. The heart of the watch houses the newly-crafted 4R34 movement, an evolution of the Caliber 4R platform, introducing a fourth hand—the GMT hand. This movement allows hacking and manual winding, featuring both a date and an independently adjustable 24-hour hand.
