The Squale 1521 Full Luminoso, as the name implies, a full inverse style of glowing in the dark on one typical dive watch. Instead of just having the handset and hour plots luming up, now they do not, whereas the whole dial will get this job done. Its a fully luminous dial that was once popular in the early 90s. Furthermore, the 1521 has been the staple model of what it used to be, in the 1960s and 70s, the iconic skin-diver watch. The Squale 1521 Full Luminoso case dimension stays true at 41mm wide and 48mm lugs to lugs, similar to the Squale 1521 Blue. It is boasting a 500m water-resistant without the use of the conventional Helium escapement valve due to its unique case design. The unique case construction also meant that the 500m watch could be kept at a slim 12.5mm. The contemporary footprint means that the 1521 is exceptionally comfortable on the wrist. Topping it off, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for added toughness and clarity. The stay "true-to-original" philosophy gives watch enthusiasts much enjoyment of the retro-ness.

Onto its unique retro dial that presents the highlight of the watch. The entirety has complete Superluminova applied onto it, contrasted with blacked-out handset and hour plots with certain splash of painted orange markers at the 12,6 and 9'o clock positions, which provides better orientation for its wearer. Once fully illuminated in the dark, the readability is as good as with conventional dive watches, thanks to the contrasting markers and handset.
 

Made in Switzerland and powered by an ETA automatic caliber, ETA2824-2/SW 200, élaboré, operating at 28,800 bph (4 Hertz) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 38 hours.

The Squale 1521 comes with a brand new stainless steel bracelet. Its a first for the heritage brand with the most remarkable development concerns the endlink of the bracelet. It was created to produce a semi-integrated effect that best complements the innovative design of the 1521 case with its straight lugs. The result is a bracelet that appears to be a seamless extension of the case. The design of the bracelet was inspired by the famed bracelets of the 60s, which wrapped the wrist comfortably due to their light weight. The aim is to maintain the same lightness and comfort even with full and robust steel links, supported by screw pins to provide easy and safe adjustment. Lastly, it features a double closure buckle to prevent accidental impacts from opening it. Additionally, the buckle comes with a diving extension specifically designed to be worn with a wetsuit.
