Dietrich itself is a watch brand based in Zurich, Switzerland and is established in 2010 by Emmanuel Dietrich after 17 years of experience in the watchmaking industry. The momentum of Dietrich can be highlighted since the development of Organic Time, a passion to make a balance between forms, feelings, pleasures, and sensations in a timepiece. This also starts Dietrich to create its own path in the watchmaking industry.
The unique thing about Dietrich watches is the shape of the case that doesn't follow the common one. Instead of making a circular form, Dietrich creates a breakthrough design with a hexagonal shape. Until now, it becomes Dietrich's signature to form a watch case.
The launch of the DD (Dietrich Device) edition marks a new journey for Dietrich as the company decided to take a different approach to design timepieces. This edition also ends the Organic Time collection with a unique appearance. The hexagonal shape in the DD collection is quite an interest in the watchmaking industry as it is new and enchanting.
The release of the Skin Diver collection became another milestone for Dietrich to embark on the brand’s new creative direction. The main vision of this collection is to pay tribute to watches in the past. Thus, the Skin Diver collection is the modern reinterpretation of iconic watches from the past.
